MAKING POSITIVE ATTRIBUTE: Be The 1st one in mind

Japan Aviation Electronics Phils.,Inc - one of the electronics company i worked as Quality Assurance (QA). If my superiors thinks about good quality output without any discrepancies they always think Jonna is the one. When times of quarterly perfect in attendance awardee, Jonna is the one. When my superiors think of clean, organized working table, Jonna is the one. By the time the management needs a new line leader, I was the first choice.
Here's my point, If we want to start rising to the top esp at work,You have to be the first or the top of mind amongst the people that you work for specially your boss. When the boss needs something done, you have to be the first in his mind. If you’re just the third, or the fourth, or the fifth, or the tenth in his mind, you’re just like a company that is in third , fourth or fifth position -- far, far away from rising to the top.

But, being top of mind is not enough. You also have to burn an attribute in his mind.

Caution: Burning an attribute in your boss’s or co-worker’s mind is a double-edged sword. You have to make sure that you burn a positive attribute and not a negative one.It is very difficult or next to impossible to dislodge an attribute in ones mind once it has been established. If you go into the workplace and the attribute you burn in your boss’s mind is (you’re lazy),(you’re not a team player),(you’re not trustworthy) then chances are, that attribute will stick in his mind for years to come and you’ll have a hard time rising to the top.
How many friends or people do you know have been branded “lazy”, “a flirt”, “playboy”, “cheater”, "user", "back-slider" etc. Think about it, no matter how hard they try to change their image, it just sticks and is so hard to dislodge from your mind isn’t it? That’s how powerful burning an attribute in the mind is, positive or negative.

So, key lesson is if you want to rise to the top, you got to be the first in their mind and you got to burn positive attributes in their mind.

The purpose of life is a life of purpose. Don't define your failure by looking at somebody's success and don't define your success at somebody's failure. Set your own targets everyday to break. Changing the face can change nothing but facing the change can change everything. Every test in our life makes us bitter or better. Every problem come to make us or break us. Choice is ours wether we become victim or victor. When the mirror of life gets dirty with the fog of reality, just try to wipe it with your FAITH IN GOD.
