NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE AIR SHOW: NOV.12,2010

LAS VEGAS -It's all about afterburners and airplanes last Nov 12,2010 as one of the largest air shows in the nation is took place in Las Vegas. Nellis Air Force Base opened its gates to the public for their annual Aviation Nation air show.

The air show kicked off on that Friday and the day after for 600 area school kids and the families of Air Force personnel. This air show draws in thousands of people from across the country.

One Dad brought his kids out to see the planes, says it's sparked their interest into becoming pilots some day.

"They're never bored here. The pilots will talk about the planes with them and they're always seeing something neat.

Not only do spectators have a full day of air shows, but there are over 100 jets, vintage planes and military vehicles on display. Me, as a pilot's wife it's a hands on experience where I actually get inside the vehicles(planes) and see how the military uses them. There are also pilots and Air Force personnel on hand to answer questions.

It's the only time you can get up close and personal with your favorite jet.

One grandfather brought his grand kids out to the show and says it is a great educational experience.

"They love going on and sitting in the cockpits and seeing some of the planes. This is a great time for them. I'm glad I was able to bring them out here," he said.

You will also get to see the Thunderbirds make their final air show of the season and get to see the Raptor do some amazing flight moves. Even better, admission into Aviation Nation is free and so is parking. You will need to park at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and shuttle buses will pick up passengers throughout the day and take them to Nellis. Kinda neat huh... 'twas my first time to attend and experience watching Air Show since i came to Las Vegas, now looking forward for the next 70th Anniv celebration Air Show sometime on November 2011.

The purpose of life is a life of purpose. Don't define your failure by looking at somebody's success and don't define your success at somebody's failure. Set your own targets everyday to break. Changing the face can change nothing but facing the change can change everything. Every test in our life makes us bitter or better. Every problem come to make us or break us. Choice is ours wether we become victim or victor. When the mirror of life gets dirty with the fog of reality, just try to wipe it with your FAITH IN GOD.
